Hello everyone,

Thought I would call your attention to the headline in this May 14th, 2012 National Post article by Paul Russell.

Why am I bringing this article to your attention?
 Well, back in 1995, Canada was at yet another potential turning point.

Quebec and the FPTB had once again decided that "they" ---

(isn't it interesting how "they" are constantly the ones with the power (and dare I say it, the cajunas) to make such decisions at the mercy, and with little concern for EVERYONE ELSE in this country)

--- had decided to take a vote and attempt to separate themselves from Canada
  
-- YET AGAIN !! --

I recognize now, admittedly more than I did at that time, how insulting this should have been to me back then, and also how insulting it should actually be to me, and to all Canadians, NOW.

I am pretty sure the FPTB would be quite insulted if the RoC were constantly threatening, every several years, to vote about whether to boot Quebec out of Canada or not.  

I can only just imagine the indignation the FPTB would claim they felt if Canadians were indeed voting every couple of years as to whether to "keep them" around or not. 

I can just hear them whining now...

But, once again, it's "them" that are doing it, and thus, "they" don't see any problem with it what-so-ever.

As for me... 
In the lead up to that particular attempt to break up my country in 1995, I was still under the belief (some would say illusion) that this country / slash / my country should stay together.

I, and many other Canadians, actually went out into the streets with our  candles and signs and stood there chanting.  No... No... No... 
Say no to breaking up Canada.

Well, that was then, and this is now...

It's been another 20 years and what have I seen?
What have -- we all -- seen?

We have seen 20 more years of the the English speaking majority in the RoCanada giving and giving while Quebec and the FPTB just keep taking and taking and  demanding more and more bounty for supposedly "being nice enough" to stay in Canada as they take our tax money (en Francais SVP) and continue to abuse their power, and our good will.

RIGHT !!!



We have also seen 20 more years of everyone in all the RoCanada scrambling around

trying to --- BE MORE FRENCH ---

as mothers and fathers all over this country send their little Johnny's and little Sarah's off to French immersion schooling at enormous cost to Canadian tax payers just to -- TRY -- and appease the French fact.


Meanwhile the French PTB continue doing the exact opposite.  

{As you see in this CLIP} they continue to treat the English language, the English speaking people (and just about anything Canadian for that matter) with complete and utter contempt and disrespect while they continue to pass laws which restrict and diminish the English language.

During those early years, the FPTB kept making life difficult for the English speaking people while also making it almost impossible to attain an education in English within the province of Quebec.  Therefore, most people simply gave up and either sent their "provincial" little Johnny's and Sarah's to French schools or, they picked up and left the province all together.

All of this and, what do we have to show ? What has -- THE REST OF CANADA -- received in return for voting to keep Quebec as part of Canada?

{just as an aside here. One HAS TO take heed of the terminology surrounding all of this with phrases like "voting to keep Quebec and the FPTB from separating" and " -- they -- took a vote as to whether -- they -- wanted to separate."  It all speaks volumes regarding this issue.}

So, what has the rest of Canada received? 

Not a heck of a lot.
We have seen the French powers that be, both in the province of Quebec and other areas like eastern Ontario and New Brunswick, gain more and more power and control.

Power and control that they are using to consolidate their hold on the federal system while at the same time doing the exact opposite and pushing towards being ever more French in those areas where they have gained control.

In other words moving further and further from the very "thing" they say they are looking for from the RoC

--- BILINGUALISM ---

Yes, that's right.  Wherever the FPTB have gained any semblance of larger numbers, or any recognizable state of control, that area then becomes French dominant, with the French PTB doing everything they can ---

(including passing laws like bill Z22 which is a version of the law that led to BILL 101 in the province of Quebec)

--- to squash the English language and ultimately push away the English speaking people / slash / Canadians.

Here we see an area that some regard as Canada's version of the Canary in the coal mine when it comes to 

FRENCHIFICATION of Canada

Please note, she clearly say's,
"any new signs must be bilingual
with French FIRST."

 AND 

"Dieppe is a Francophone city that offers service in both official languages.

It is not... A bilingual city.

These so called "truths" (I hesitate to call them FACTS) according to the person in this clip, were not "truths" at all a few years ago.  Hence the Canary in the coal mine motto.

And, if Canadians continue to give "FABRICATED" credence to the idea that one must be "bilingual" to get ahead in this country then we are all accomplices in our own demise as we are helping to promote this kind of fantasy situation which ONLY BENEFITS the French PTB.

While the FPTB and the province of Quebec continue on doing the EXACT OPPOSITE.  

In the Mid seventies, the province of Quebec was the first area to commence a well documented genocide of the English speaking people who lived in that province.  The FPTB decided that THEY -- should be in charge -- then THEY proceeded to do just that.

TAKE CONTROL and... 

BE IN CHARGE  



The English speaking Canadians living there tried to fight back, to some degree at first, but then realized that the province of Quebec was not worth fighting over and, at the same time they also realized it was much easier just to move away and leave.

The FPTB then, as you see in this clip, went on to cleanse the province of anything "English."

 

Many English speaking people who left came to Ontario.  And now, many of those same people are beginning to think about moving even further west because the FPTB are starting make a push for Frenchification in parts of Ontario now as well.

Yes, the trend seems to be that, it all begins with a plea for an area to become "bilingual" but, so called "bilingualism", it would seem, is just a mere transitional phase.

Once an area becomes more and more "bilingual" / slash / French, then the French PTB begin to show that age old concern about being ASSIMILATED which in turn triggers this old French PTB mind set...

--- If we mix and mingle with those who speak English our kids will begin to speak English ---
So, the FPTB end up doing EXACTLY what they did in the province of Quebec, and what they are now doing in other areas like New Brunswick and eastern Ontario.

They begin opening French ONLY health care clinics, and French ONLY schools which hire French ONLY (or as they call them "bilingual") workers.  Which, in essence, means that all these jobs ONLY go to people with a French background since more, or rather most "bilingual" people are naturally from a French background which in turn leads to that community eventually ---

(as more and more English speaking people cannot find work and simply move away)

--- becoming pretty much French dominant area.


So, we see same pattern as different areas go from so called "bilingual" areas ---

(a quasi legitimate way to "sell" this whole concept to the rest of the people without an immediate uprising)

--- to French ONLY, or rather French dominant areas where street signs, business signs, and even signs on schools and stores become more and more French first, French dominant or even French ONLY.

Then, inevitably the FPTB begin to get increasingly bolder and bolder until, as you see in this clip...
 
The Aldermen in the city counsel in one of these small areas begins refusing to speak English to their constituents only to, in a twisted form of whatever you wish to call this cr@p, turn around and accuse those who would understandably challenge such ridiculousness as being "provocative."

Talk about insanity ...

The idea of using such a twisted psychological ploy to attempt to turn the table and put the blame on the person who has the most rights in this situation and accuse them of being provocative? REALLY?

I couldn't make this stuff up if i tried.
It's purely the stuff of a fantasy novel.

But, in the end... 
When all of this information is duly considered

It really does seem obvious that it is indeed ... 
TIME FOR QUEBEC TO GO.
